Note the exterior walls of the Parlor (General Warren’s headquarters),
with insulation and drywall awaiting plaster.
By the spring of 2007, the Parlor, North Room, and Entry Hall will be restored and
furnished to their Civil War appearances. The North Room is shown above.
The Entry Hall is seen in the two photographs above.
The 1932 flooring is slated for removal, to reinstate the 1790’s
wide-plank, heart-pine floors below. The original flooring is seen
in the center where the 20th century floorboards were removed.

Some features of 18th century construction practices will remain viewable, such as
the roman numeral markings for post placement seen in the photographs
above.
Bark on hand-hewn ceiling joists.
Phase II of the Capital Campaign will raise
funds for the restoration of the Stairhall and
Breezeway (shown above), and the second floor. The first floor West Room
will remain partially
unrestored to enhance interpretation of the late 18th century home’s
construction.
