Ellwood hosts special events every year on the anniversary of the Battle of the Wilderness, on Memorial Day weekend, and other special events during its season. This photograph was taken in June, 2003 during the Friends of Wilderness Battlefield and National Park Service's open house at Ellwood as part of the NPS "History at Sunset" series.
